9th December Chedham’s Yard AGM at the Bowls Club at 7.00pm 10th December 10am to 4 pm Chedham’s Yard Christmas Event with Carols, Father Christmas, Children’s Activities, Christmas Food including Hot Chestnuts and outside a demonstration of Hedge Laying.  


Bicycle Day at Chedhams Yard – June 13th

 Bring your bike along to see what others have, have a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. Get your bike marked by Neighbourhood Watch

Chedhams Yard

Chedhams Yard 10th May – Chedham’s Yard opens for the season and will be open every Saturday until 27th September. Gates open at 10am until 2pm. The season starts with rebuilding the two wheels for the Tip Cart by the wheelwrights from Acton Scott in Shropshire who have repaired some parts of the wheels and replaced those parts that were beyond repair. Obituary – Bill Chedham

From Chedham’s Yard Bill Chedham, who became a national figure during the BBC TV series Restoration Village, died peacefully at his home in Wellesbourne last Friday, aged 84. Bill was the sixth and last generation of blacksmiths and wheelwrights who had worked at the yard in Church Walk, Wellesbourne, since the early 19th century.
